Our engineers are all top of their game and all have their own specialities in which they are qualified and highly experienced – making the full range of yacht services’ we offer from our Mallorca HQ first-rate. From complete engine and generator replacements to annual servicing, we can carry it all out in a precise and methodical manner. We always shoulder all responsibility for the entire project giving our clients just one point of contact, no clarification needed.
Preventing failures and breakdowns through regular maintenance. Scheduled servicing in accordance with manufacturers guidelines is the best way to ensure your yacht’s systems work flawlessly by design. We keep you informed with pictures and reports on anything that might need further attention, either immediately or in the future.
Once we begin service work for any client, they go into an electronic database where all of the service/manufacturing information is then stored so that both the client and Berthon Spain know what needs to be done next time and what has been done before. This system allows us to store all engine serial numbers, part numbers and pictures of all the equipment so that when a boat is on a tight schedule, we can have a solution ready for when they arrive.
At Berthon Spain we pride ourselves in being able to carry out any project, big or small, and deliver it to the finest of quality. The engineers and technicians who work for us have a wealth of experience and have worked not only as engineers on superyachts but also join us from some of the leading yacht manufacturers.
This means they are never out of their comfort zone and can just as easily go from working on a 70M Feadship one day, a 20m cruising boat the next to then onto the advanced race boats such as TP52’s and MAXI’s that we regularly work on.
Our engineering team is overseen by our project managers who all have not only a vast amount of technical experience but also have previously been captains and thus know what is demanded of us.
