Does your project require a part that is no longer available? Do shipping times threaten your schedule?
Berthon Spain comes to the rescue! Our Fabrication Department fabricates that part to perfection, within a realistic period. This is an area that has grown and grown within the structure of our business. With many part suppliers doggedly shutting down in the summer months and the complications of COVID-19, getting parts has never been harder. With 3D scanners, 3D printers, CAD design and CNC machines it is now possible for us to replicate any part and often in a very short turn around.
As 3D printing and now CNC machining has become part of our day to day life, we have been amazed at how quickly we can produce almost any part. Moreover, once we have the technical drawings in our system it is just a click of a button for us to put together something again. These can then be sent anywhere in the world, and are not just limited for our clients in and around Palma de Mallorca.
We know how frustrating it can be as a captain or an owner when you are trying to find a part that has failed, and you do not know who originally made it. Often these parts do not even have any markings on, and you have probably spent hours looking on the internet to no avail.
We pride ourselves on being able to make any spare yacht part however obscure it may be and if it’s urgent we can often produce bespoke items within 24hrs.
Contact Berthon SpainWith over 15 years of experience with metal and plastic fabrication of spare yacht parts, Nick McMullen runs Berthon Spain’s fabrication department supported by Hallum Prendergast. We have yet to find something they can’t make between them so please do set us the challenge!
With creativity and insight, we provide ingenious solutions to help construct your ideas. We can create technical drawings for you to review and even print out 3D mock-ups so you can get a feel of something on your boat before it goes into production.
We repair yacht parts to save time and money. You will get them returned as good as new. On our recent projects page you will find more examples of our fabrication of spare yacht parts and other projects we’ve done so far.
